We are committed to improving environmental performance and leading industry efforts to make integrity, accountability and transparency key characteristics of the built environment. Here are some examples of how we take our responsibilities seriously:
Collaboration – we work with the United States Green Building Council to refine and improve the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) standard. We helped found the Czech Green Building Council and we represent the Romanian Green Building Council before the LEED International Roundtable. We are among the first firms to offer LEED services in the French market and we are helping to develop the next generation of performance-based sustainability metrics and regulation in the UK.
Community - we are working to promote regenerative, low impact, highly sustainable exemplar communities that will have a transformative effect on neighbourhoods such as in East London following the 2012 Olympic Games.
Transparency – we publicly report our carbon emissions under the Carbon Disclosure Project so that our employees and clients can be assured we are a transparent, low carbon business.
Integrity – the Achilles’ “Verify” accreditation audit of health, safety, environmental and quality policies saw scores in the top ranges across all categories with the highest marks for our environmental practices.
Ethical – we are committed to operating to the highest standards of professional and ethical conduct on a world-wide basis. We have zero tolerance towards any form of bribery and corruption. The Bribery Act 2010 - new legislation in the UK - underpins the high standards we already maintain.
