Tips for Applying

We appreciate that making a good application requires time and effort. In order to make your application the best it can be, our advice would be:

• Do your research. Review the main G&T website www.gardiner.com to get a feel for the type of projects we have worked on and tell us in your application where you think you might be able to add value to the business.

• Tell us why you want to work for G&T. We are aware that you will be making a number of applications but try to avoid generic copy and paste answers as they do not do justice to your application.

• List your career/job experience in reverse chronological order so that we can quickly see your most recent experience. Include your job title, the name of the organisation and the town and country where you worked.

  Describe the responsibilities and achievements in each role, relating them back to skills required in the job you are applying for.

• Remember it is not only your academic and professional achievements we are interested in but other activities you have been involved in outside of your studies and work life. Give us a chance to get to know you a little bit by telling us something about your interests, passions and leisure pursuits.
